Valencia - Spain's third-largest city is home to paella and the Holy Grail, it is also blessed with
great weather and the spring festival of Las Fallas, one of the wildest
parties in the country |
 | Javea - a friendly family resort, with three main areas -
the old town, the port and the beautiful beach at Arenal

 | Moraira - Originally a fishing village on a sheltered bay
below a rocky headland, it remains one of the most unspoilt resorts. The
intimate beach of El Portet is nearby

 | Calpe - a good place to get the feel of this coast with
its two splendid beaches, cheerful shops, outdoor restaurants and lively
nightlife

Altea - sheltered and encircled by steep hills and cliffs,

World Health Organization accredited "clean beach"), to
Calpe's two enormous white beaches, the coastline is strewn with
beautiful white sandy beaches to suit all tastes (even naturists !) |

- the smaller towns and villages of Costa Blanca all have weekly
markets that are an experience not to be missed

 | Horse Riding - the Club
Hipic Benissa is close to the villa, and can arrange
outings for any level of experience, A great way to explore the
traditionally terraced local countryside |
 | Sailing/diving - the Costa Blanca is the perfect
spot for water sports, and
equipment can be hired locally. Costa
Blanca Scuba has good local dive site information, and Mermaid
is a friendly, local dive centre. |
